There's not a lot to report, actually. We decided tonight was the night, and prepped the operating room. We assembled our instruments and proceeded to operate on two pumpkins. Liliana opted to make one in a traditional fashion and another that was a bit edgier. Okay, she called it 'spooky', not 'edgy'. But you get the idea.
We were surprised at how much Liliana enjoyed the messiest part of the process, but she dug right in with her bare hands and was soon scooping out pumpkin while she murmured "BRAINS....". What's Halloween without a zombie reference?
