Squeaky cupcakes

Liliana made cupcakes with grandma the other day, so we decided to have them for dessert tonight - along with ice cream!

Katie was fetching the plates from the cupboard when she heard a noise that worried her at first.  This is the noise:

Liliana gave us an adorable gift that she had made for us in Sunday school.  It came with this picture.  Jason and I were both struck by how mature she looks in this shot.  And we have concluded that she must've been in the middle of telling one of her stories when this was snapped.
Last weekend, the 3B's and an E came down to help us move mom's stuff from my old house into an apartment in Wentzville.  It was a quick visit but we enjoyed every second of it!  (And Liliana soaked up as much cousin time as possible, she ADORES her Brayden and Emily!)

Cheese

Although surrounded by a plethora of toys, the plastic box reigns supreme.

Badges?!  We don't need no stinking badges!

Mario or Luigi?  We can't be certain.  Deep under cover.

Brayden was not so enthusiastic about being disguised.  With a handsome face like that, I can't really blame him.
We were sad when it was time for them to go and a few tears were shed.  Lilie was not happy either.  But we all promised that we'd get together again soon.  Thanks again for EVERYTHING you guys!
After they had to leave, Lilie and I settled in for a  nice, long read.

Love, love, love relaxing on the couch with my baby girl snuggled up tight

Valentine

Tonight I asked Liliana to be my Valentine.  Jason protested, "No, she's going to be MY Valentine."  We set to arguing over her.  Liliana interrupted us and simply said, "You guys can share me because it's all about the love!"

We both nearly fell over laughing.
