St. Louis: City Garden

St. Louis had a recent addition to its urban parks. Located almost next to a Metrolink station and within view of the Arch, it's become quite a destination. It doesn't hurt that it has a couple of fountains (one designed for play, one not - though people still do) and some sculpture that begs to be climbed upon. And a small cafe. Oh, and a giant head...

If I only had the words, Daddy, I could explain to you that purple and pink do not go together. Please... please do not make me go out in public this way.

Sigh. Thanks, Daddy. Oh well. Here we are at the park, dressed entirely WRONG.

What's that? Water? Like on the Beverly Hillbillies, only different?

Really... Mommy. It's no big deal. It will come back. It's just a fountain, with timers... and ... stuff.
See... I can practically hear it running its timer. Really.
AHA. Over there lies the one that will erupt next. It's simple math, really.
I hate to say I told you so, but ... well, there it is.
Giant, abstract... uh, bunnies. Right Mommy? Bunny?
Ah. Cool. If it's a bunny, I can give it a kiss.
Ah, to one day live in an apartment down here, gazing down at the sad children dressed in purple and pink. PURPLE. AND. PINK.
This was one very tall horse sculpture! Mommy and I looked so good on the first picture!
This photo op is over. You can't beat perfection.
[How can she look sooooo cute in this pic? - Daddy] Did I mention the giant head?Giant head. Best. Photo. Ever.

City Garden! Can't wait to come back in the heat of summer, when the fountains are spitting water full-blast...
