Liliana:  (Sneezes twice)
Me:  "Bless You!"  (x2)
L:   "AH Shoe! (Pause) Ah Shoe!" (Really fake sneezes)
Me:  "Oh my, bless You again!"
L:  "I need to go to the Doctor........I need to get my flu shot."

This isn't the first time she's told me she needs to get her flu shot but it cracks me up every time.  It's like she's auditioning for a commercial for the pharmaceutical companies.

Last week at church, Liliana made a craft in Sunday school class.  She was very proud of her paper camel and excitedly announced when we picked her up from class, "I need to take this home and show it to my parents!"  We tried to explain that we are, in fact, her parents but I'm not sure she understood because she mentioned to us several more times that afternoon that she needed to show it to her parents.

One of our favorite games is seeing how really big words fall out of Lilie's mouth.  Katie was standing in line at Walgreen's with Lilie on her hip, having explained that they were going there to pick up her prescription.

"Mommy, we here to get your preszibsipsin?"
"Yes, baby - mommy's prescription."
Pause.
"Mommy, dey have your preszibsipsin?"
"Yes.  They have my prescription behind the counter, and we need to pick it up."
Thoughtful pause.
"We going to buy your preszibsipsin?"
The lady behind them in line, having heard most of the conversation, leaned in and ruined Katie's fun:
"You're so cute.  Honey, you should just call it 'medicine'."
